Captain's Quarters was a fantastic cottage with exceptional views and this helped us to have a wonderful 20th Wedding Anniversary; thanks a lot, Shoreline.

We have returned to Turnerdale this holiday having been there in February. This is not something we would normally do but we loved the house and the location, backed up by help from Billy when needed.

Another lovely property! We had a superb weekend and are looking forward to the next one.

We really enjoyed our stay in Caedmon House. The cottage was well equipped and spotless. Billy was very helpful. In general - we loved Sandsend, loved the cottage and I like to think we'll be back. The reservation process over the phone with Sue was great - she was more than helpful.

We had a most enjoyable stay. The weather was more like Christmas than Easter but the apartment was lovely and warm. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Absolutely lovely cottage in a great location. The arrivals procedure, of meeting us and taking us to our cottage, fronted by Billy, totally exceeded my expectations and, as the weather was particuarly bad on Good Friday, this was very much appreciated!

Brilliant, accommodating staff who helped us out after a mishap with our transport. A lovely cottage with everything we needed and a better range of kitchen equipment than I have at home, which was a delight to my partner as he is a chef!

We really enjoyed our stay. The extra touches, such as a bottle of wine and the lighting and music on when we arrived quite late were much appreciated. Our short family holiday at St Hilda's in Whitby was absolutely superb! The accommodation was truly excellent and the facilities were brilliant. Sorrel Cottage is absolutely gorgeous; none of us wanted to come home. It truly was welcoming from the first glimpse as we pulled into the driveway, and once inside we all fell in love with it. Billy was very efficient, and a real asset to the company, judging by our experience of him and other people's comments in the visitors book.

Whitby is made for the perfect family break. Our teenage daughters enjoyed the town and together we enjoyed exploring the surrounding countryside.

The cottage was superb and exactly as depicted in the brochure (I was prepared for disappointment!). The garden in particular was great for morning tea and evening wine! The location was excellent, close enough to reach all facilities, but away from the traffic nightmare of the town centre. This is the first time we have stayed in the centre of Whitby, although we have visited the area many times before, usually staying in the surrounding countryside. We enjoyed having all the facilities on the doorstep and the views from the windows of the cottage were superb. The cottage itself was excellent and we would definitely like to come back.
