Mariner's Cottage: Overview
This charming cottage is tucked away on Silver Street at the front of our car park. Stone steps and narrow alleys leads down to the quayside, whilst a short walk down Silver Street takes you into Flowergate and Whitby's shops.
The front door of the cottage opens into the bright and welcoming kitchen and dining area. This then leads through to a spacious and stylish living room which features a brick fireplace (which is decorative only) and oak beams.
Climb a short winding staircase and you'll discover the first floor bedrooms (a twin room and a room with bunk beds) and the family bathroom including an over bath electric shower. A second short, steep staircase takes you to the third bedroom complete with a compact en-suite bathroom and view of the Abbey.
Mariner's Cottage has one free, secure car parking space directly outside. It is only two minute's walk from the nearest shops and the railway station is half a mile away. This is a cottage with original features so mind your head on the original exposed, and in some cases low, beams in the bedrooms.
