West End Cottage: Overview
This charming cottage is only a short walk from Flowergate and the heart of Whitby's shopping areas. Nearby, a flight of steep stone steps and narrow alleys wind their way down to the harbour, which is just a few minutes away.
Dating back to 1826, West End is full of period details. Don't miss the wall carvings which frame the back door, which is accessed down a short flight of steps. Inside, you'll find the cottage instantly inviting. The kitchen to the rear of the cottage is immaculate and well equipped, and leads on to an enclosed and private courtyard that is ideal for barbecues.
With one double bedroom, one twin attic bedroom and a family bathroom, West End Cottage can easily accommodate families or couples. Please note that the staircases in this cottage are quite steep and may be unsuitable for some guests.
It is also very close to Abbey View and Mariner's Cottages.
Parking is in public car parks, the nearest of which is approximately a 10 minute walk away. The nearest shops are only two minutes' walk away and it is half a mile to the railway station.
